what we do

Food Security

Tiichám Conservation District provides project management for the Yellowhawk Tribal Health Center Community Garden. The produce from the garden is sourced to various programs within the community such as Nixyaawii Education Center and the Nicht-Yow-Way Senior Center.

Conservation Planning and Monitoring

Detailed assessments are conducted to evaluate the ecological status of tribal lands, identify threats to biodiversity, and assess the impacts of human activities on natural resources.

Providing technical assistance to tribal communities in areas such as GIS mapping, ecological monitoring, and sustainable land use practices.

Outreach and Education

Tiichám provides educational opportunities for agricultural businesses and individuals seeking knowledge on how to either start a new enterprise or to improve an existing one.
